Hall Meeting Notes

Orah

Signing out incorrectly, no signing out at all, not putting in a pass. We are past the start of school and your grace period is ending. Please be mindful and make sure you have an understanding of how to correctly use orah.

• The only time you do not have to stop by the desk will be when it is extended, you are leaving with parent/guardian, and you are going home 

• Making sure you end the pass, call if you need to update it 

• If you are having technical issues, you can talk to jplum and he will help you 

Hall Life 

We need to do better

• Items on the floor 

• Ramen spilled all in the microwave 

• Damaging the posters I set out 

• Being loud, the grace period for that is leaving and curfew/noise violations will be treated as a breach of conduct.

• If you need to use the lounge really late ask me, this will ensure you are safe if a CC asks what you are doing out of your room late. THIS is only for if you need to engage in quiet study and will not be an excuse for a large loud group. 

• Do not wonder off campus after dark, this is an automatic sanction major or minor dependant on how egregious the offence is 

• Roommate agreements are due sept 15th

Please sign check correctly

• Means signing for yourself only, in the correct spot, with your initials not a check or other symbol 

• Do not sign for anyone else even if they are on hall, they must physically sign check.

• Signing for someone else when they are not in the building and are elsewhere is a major violation  

• If we can not abide by our current check system it will be altered. (think about how morganton signs check).
