Jada Lucas

Hey everyone! I am so excited to serve as your Community Coordinator for 3rd East Hunt, I am originally from Oxford, NC where I went to high school at the J.F. Webb School of Health and Life Science. I then continued my educational journey in Greenville, NC at East Carolina University, majoring in sociology with a concentration in law and society. I later added a minor in criminal justice as I began to build my passion for advocacy and procedural justice. I also obtained my Master’s degree in criminal justice from ECU with a focus in criminology.

A few of my previous professional roles include being a cabin counselor at YMCA camp Kanata, a graduate assistant at my alma mater, and serving as the lead resident counselor of activities and logistics for Duke pre-college programs! I aim to continue the tradition of making 3rd East Hunt a fun and safe space for students.

Most of my friends would definitely describe me as “nerdy” due to my involvement in marching band and other ensembles throughout my educational career. This coupled with my love for video games, academic achievement, science fiction, and the wonders of our natural world. I am also into Herpetoculture, with reptiles being one of my favorite classifications of animals. While passionate about their care in captivity, I am vehement about the conservation of their habitats and investigating their natural behaviors. So, if you see me outside looking in the grass or under a rock, chances are pretty good that I found a cool critter!

Jack Chen

Hi y’all! My name is Jack and I’m from Chapel Hill where I attended East Chapel Hill. I’m interested in engineering, specifically mechanical engineering. I am also a member of a local robotics team, Valence Robotics. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, cooking, and hanging out with my friends. Caleb Stanton

Hey everyone! My name is Caleb Stanton, and I am ecstatic to be one of your RLAs this year. I’m from Williamston and went to Martin County High School before coming to NCSSM. Some topics I’m interested in are mechanical engineering and physics, and I also participate in Valance Robotics, Team 8429, where I mainly do mechanical work and some electrical work. I am very welcoming to any hobbies that you may have, from music to sports, but I am specifically crazy about sports, more specifically, Football (go Steelers). Shrihari Murali

Hey everyone! My name is Shrihari but you can also call me Shri, and I am from Wake Forest where I attended Franklin Academy High School. I love to fly planes, and I also love to play tennis so hit me up if you wanna play ever. I am interested in aerospace engineering and I am a captain for the High Powered Rocketry club so feel free to join or even just stop by. One of my favorite things about last year was the halloween dance and I look forward to making new memories this year.
